Can't batch edit Zooomr photos?

Zooomr sucks when it comes to batch editing of photos. It allows you to tag a group of photos only when you upload them together. Otherwise you will have to tag each photo individually.. how annoying is that?

I discovered this recently when I uploaded a bunch of photos using jUploadr (does jUploadr allow you to tag while uploading? didn't check) So when I tried to create a smart set for only a subset of the photos I realised I had to tag them first.. but there is no batch tagging! How I missed Flickr's Organizr! Well, I then googled to see the progress Zooomr is making on this feature but aborted the mission when I came across a greasemonkey script that does what I want.. and yes, it does it beautifully! And so easy to install too.

First of all let me explain how it works.. Greasemonkey is a firefox extension that allows you to tweak a webpage using javascript. But don't worry you don't have to go write your own script for this. There are hundreds of scripts out there written by people who know javascript better than you and me :P

So this is all you have to do to get batch editing working on zooomr:
* Install greasemonkey extension (if you haven't already)
Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748 and click on "Add to Firefox" button
* Install the script that does the job for you
Go to userscripts.org and search for 'Zooomr Simple Organizer" or just go to http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/29546 and click on "Install this script"

Now login to your zooomr account and go to your photos page.
And Voila!! You should be able to see the "Organize" button in the header.. and you are all set to go!
